Voula sits between the noise of Glyfada and the pines of Vouliagmeni, and it behaves like it. The beaches, Voula A and Voula B, are organised, sandy and used by families who live here as much as by visitors. The housing is residential. A good villa has a pool, a gate, and a five-minute drive to the sand rather than a claim to be on it.
This is the practical family booking on the Riviera. Grandparents can sit in the garden. Children can be on a beach that does not require a club wristband. Dinner is either at home, with a chef if you want one, or a short hop to Glyfada when you want a proper restaurant street. Vouliagmeni is the other direction, for the lake and Astir.
The airport transfer is in the same band as Glyfada, roughly half an hour in normal traffic. Summer Fridays are slower. We book the car with the house.
If the group is large, check the plot size before you fall in love with the photos. Some Voula gardens hold twelve people and a long table. Some do not. Those that do are also on the large group page. Pool-first houses are with the private pools.
Beaches, prices and the difference between A and B are in the beaches guide. The wider coast is in the Athens Riviera guide.
